1. China's manufacturing industry is "big" but not "strong"
The scale of China's manufacturing industry has been growing rapidly. After a long period of expansion, it increased from 140 billion us dollars in 1990 to 2.05 trillion us dollars in 2010, and surpassed the 1.78 trillion us dollars of the United States to become the largest manufacturing country in the world.
In terms of Numbers, China has ranked first in the world, but in terms of quality, China lags far behind developed countries such as Europe and America. In developed countries, one unit or more of new value can be exchanged, while China can only exchange 0.56 units.China's export products are also labor-intensive and low-technology based, in the industry chain has always been at a disadvantage.
Such a manufacturing mode has made China surpass the United States in the total manufacturing volume and become the "big" country with the largest manufacturing scale, but there is still a long way to go from the "strong" manufacturing country. Most of China's manufacturing enterprises are still at the bottom of the industrial chain, only doing OEM production, and do not have the ability to innovate, design and sell. Therefore, only by possessing independent core production technology and improving production efficiency can the real upgrading of manufacturing industry be realized.
2. Intelligent manufacturing is about to explode
According to the projections of population economists, the lewis turning point of the demographic dividend will occur in 2015.Data from the sixth census show that the total population of mainland China is 1.34 billion, of which 222 million are children aged 0 to 14 years old, accounting for 16.6%.The population aged from 15 to 59 years old is 940 million, accounting for 70.14% of the total population. The total number of elderly people aged 60 and above rose to 178 million, with the aging population reaching 13.26 percent.A declining labor force and an aging population will eventually change labor supply and demand, pushing up labor costs.
After the demographic dividend gradually disappears, it will be the general trend to realize artificial replacement through industrial automation. For a long time, the majority of China's manufacturing industry is still the main mode of labor-intensive enterprises. But now facing the problem of sustainable development, China is transforming from labor-intensive to technology-intensive, and industrial automation has become the general trend.
At present, the level of industrial automation technology in China is very low. The robot density in the manufacturing industry, which is one of the standards to measure the level of automation in a country, is the number of multi-functional robots per 10,000 industrial workers.According to the international federation of robotics, China had 21 robots in 2011, compared with an international average of 55, including 135 in the United States, 251 in Germany, 339 in Japan and 347 in South Korea. However, China's growth rate has been very fast in the past two years. In terms of total production, China's installed capacity rose from 52,290 units in 2010 to 74,317 units in 2011.The international federation of robotics expects China to become the world's largest robot market next year.
3. Intelligent manufacturing: artificial replacement and industrial upgrading
The intelligent manufacturing equipment industry mainly includes intelligent measurement and control instruments, CNC machine tools, industrial robots, new sensors, 3D printing technology, complete automation production lines, etc.The ministry requires key intelligent instrument and equipment, intelligent equipment, such as the four categories of products, including intelligent special equipment mainly including large-scale intelligent engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, smart printing machinery, textile machinery automation, environmental protection machinery, coal machinery, metallurgical machinery and other kinds of special equipment, the implementation of manufacturing process automation and intellectualization.
Status quo of China's intelligent equipment industry: with the rapid development of information technology and advanced manufacturing technology, China's intelligent manufacturing equipment is advancing steadily. In 2010, the sales revenue of some intelligent manufacturing equipment industries, such as industrial automation control systems and instrumentation, CNC machine tools, industrial robots and their systems, exceeded 300 billion yuan. However, there are still some problems in China's intelligent manufacturing equipment industry. The scale of automation industry is small, the foundation is weak, high-grade and special sensors, intelligent instruments and meters, automatic control system, high-grade CNC system, robot market share is less than 5%.
With the increasing policy support for intelligent equipment manufacturing industry in China, the market size may reach one trillion yuan in the future. In the next few years, the annual growth rate of the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry is expected to exceed 20%. We estimate that the scale of the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry will reach 1 trillion yuan in 2015 and 3 trillion yuan in 2020, with the market share of domestic equipment exceeding 60%.
